Radical prostatectomy remains the gold standard for the treatment of localized prostate cancer in patients with a life expectancy of more than ten years. Among the complications of this procedure, urinary incontinence that most adversely affects the individual's quality of life and causes social isolation, still occurs despite improved technology. Even though the incidence of postprostatectomy incontinence has been reported to vary in a wide range, it is well-known that urinary incontinence does occur and will continue to occur after this surgical procedure. The methods to be used in the evaluation of these patients are of utmost importance, in that, the application of the appropriate treatment for the appropriate patient after these evaluations allows patients to return to their social lives.
