Objectives:

Adrenal invasion and presence of trombosis are the two important prognostic parameters in renal cell cancer and these two parameters resulted in changes in stageing system of renal cell cancer. In this rewiev iti is aimed to summarize the studies on prognostic significance of these two parameters and to give information about data from Turkish population.

New Result:

Adrenal invasion and presence of trombosis are the two important prognostic parameters Studies on these two parameters resulted in changes in TNM 2002 stageing system. Data from Turkish population resembles the findings from current literature.

Conclusion:

Patients with adrenal invasion and tumor trombosis should be evaluated based on these two findings and treatment of these patients should be based on their current stage of the disease.
