Systemic evaluation of lower urinary tract symptoms continuously provide an insight into the pathogenesis of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and although the cause is not yet clear, the accumulated information creates new opportunities for investigation. These studies and consequent clinical applications are summerized.
