Renal cell carcinoma represents 2-3% of all cancers. Because of the increasing proportion of incidentally detected renal masses, the efforts trend toward using minimally invasive techniques. Partial nephrectomy is the standard treatment for renal tumors under 4 cm in size. The use of robotic surgery in urology has increased during the last decade. Three-dimensional high-definition imaging, short learning curve, ease of intracorporeal suture are the main advantages of robotic surgery. In this article we tried to explain step by step stages of robot-assisted partial nephrectomy.
