Sistektomi sonrası yaşam kalitesi ne zaman ölçülmelidir?

Radical cystectomy is the gold standard treatment modality for muscle invasive bladder tumours. All invasive bladder cancer patients have psychological adaptation periods after the initial confrontation period of a radical cystectomy and urinary diversion. The trend over the last decade has been towards examined the impact of treatment modality on quality of life. To evaluate the quality of life after of cystectomy patient objectively it is recommended that the patient finished the adaptation period of new onset of the treatment difficulties.

Quality of life measures come to preoperative values and stabilise after 12 months of radical cystectomy. This time interval leads to patient's adapt and/or accept the complications of surgery.
