The Current Radiological Approach to Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common tumor of the kidney. The incidence of RCC has been increasing with the dissemination of imaging techniques, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound. Radiologic imaging plays a central role in its detection, staging, treatment evaluation and follow-up. The main aim of this article was to review of efficiency of the current radiologic examination in RCC.
