ABSTRACT
Bladder cancer is pathology often detected superficially. About 100 year transuretral resection of bladder tumor has been the gold standard for diagnosis and treatment of superficial bladder tumors. Although some standards have been defined, there are variations in the success of treatment. Especially in some of difficult giant tumor surgery, in addition to standard therapy it is recommended to use the developments in techniques and technologies. Bipolar resection, en block resection and the second resection can be used for this purpose. Among these, second TUR in the treatment of large superficial bladder tumors shown to have benefit. There aren't enough studies available in the literature that demonstrates applicability of other methods and about the resection problems of giant tumors, so new studies with larger series are needed in this area.
