ABSTRACT

Higher number of co-morbidities in older men which have been detected a high rate of BPH play a limiting role for TURP. In these cases who have BPH with high morbidity, medical treatment or minimally invasive techniques may be preferred. In recent years, a wide variety of minimally invasive techniques such as transurethral thermotherapy, prostatic stent, laser prostatectomy and intraprostatic injection of botulinum toxin have been developed.
