ABSTRACT

The increased knowledge and multicentre studies by urological associations cause the developments in urology, especially in urological oncology in Turkey and the World. Previous knowledge and experiences provide to understand and maintain these developments. Recent information is composed with the experiences of the scientists in the past. New diagnostic and therapeutic methods are developed with these studies in urological diseases such as bladder cancer. Urooncology presents a rapid improvement in Turkey. In this study, it was aimed to review the history of developments in bladder cancer in our country with various references, personal experiences and the important opinions of authors.
